It’s important that we keep our dogs as happy as can be and there’s some things that you might be doing that might be affecting how positive they feel.

Leave your lead somewhere obvious
Your dog’s lead should be left in the same place every time.
It should be left somewhere that’s very easy to find.
That way your dog knows that a walk is never far away and that they can be out and about in no time.

Just make sure all the dogs are compatible with each other before putting them in a group together.
Walking is tiring work
Exercise is essential for all dogs.
Make sure your dog has time to rest and relax[/caption]It helps keep them in shape but is really important for their mental health, too.
It’s so important that all dogs get a daily walk to keep them happy and healthy, but don’t overdo it.
Avoiding taking tiny dogs for 10 hour walks, remember they’ve only got little legs!
Try and give running a go
If you do have a dog that’s bursting with energy, look into running with them.
And if you’re too busy out at work, ask your dog walker and see if this is a service that they can provide.
It’s important to let your dog let off some steam, so they can be relaxed when the evening comes.
