Live Blog: Ohio State falls to Michigan 42-27
ANN ARBOR, Michigan (WCMH) — No. 2 Ohio State is facing No. 5 Michigan with a trip to the Big Ten Championship on the line.
Both teams fate in the College Football Playoff also hang in the balance in Ann Arbor.
The Buckeyes are going for thier ninth-straight win this season and ninth-straight win over the Wolverines.

1st Quarter
Michigan scores on its opening drive on a 14-yard jet sweep touchdown run by A.J. Henning. 7-0 Wolverines with 10:12 left in the the first quarter.
Michigan goes back inside the red zone after the Buckeyes go three and out but OSU safety Bryson Shaw intercepts Cade McNamara on the edge of the end zone.
Ohio State marches all the way down the field but is forced to settle for a field goal after Michigan defensive end Aiden Hutchinson gets a sack on 3rd and goal. 7-3 Wolverines with 3:36 left in the first quarter.
2nd Quarter
Ohio State punts after getting to midfield. Offensive tackle Dawand Jones is having a hard time blocking Hutchinson.
Ohio State has its first lead of the game after a 25-yard pass to Garrett Wilson who caught the ball over the defender and got his foot inbounds along the sideline before falling into the end zone. Buckeyes lead 10-7. The play was set up by a 23-yard slant to Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Michigan answers with a 13-play, 82-yard touchdown drive capped off by a one-yard run from Hassan Haskins. Wolverines lead 14-10. Ohio State adds a field goal just before the half. Buckeyes trail the Wolverines 14-13 at the break.
3rd Quarter
Michigan scores on its first drive of the second half thanks to a 55-yard run by Blake Corum followed by a 13-yard touchdown run by Haskins. Wolverines have 190 yards rushing and lead 21-13.
Ohio State punts again and the Wolverines march 79 yards down the field on five plays ending with a one-yard touchdown for Haskins. Michigan leads 28-13 with 5:49 left in the third quarter.
Ohio State gets a much-needed touchdown to make it a one possession game after a one-yard run from TreVeyon Henderson. The touchdown was set up by a nine-yard completion on 4th and 4 from Stroud to Smith-Njigba and an unbelievable catch by Smith-Njigba on 3rd and 19 to put OSU in striking distance.
Haskins scores his fourth touchdown of the game and Michigan goes back up by 15 points. Wolverines lead 35-20 with 9:14 left in the game.
Stroud throws a swing pass to Henderson on 4th and 5 and he takes it 10 yards for the score. Buckeyes trail 35-27 with 4:45 left.
