Faults on dash cluster and other fun happenings!
2015 F-150 Platinum, 110,000 miles.
Two faults appeared on the dash cluster one after the other, blind spot monitor and cross traffic alert are indicating to be turned off. A navigation fault appeared on the main console screen. The climate control is unresponsive (no A/C, Heat or blower) as well as the radio controls (steering wheel controls for radio still work). I also noticed only the Front windows are in-op and the running boards no longer deployed upon opening the door. I checked the settings and sure enough the running boards switched themselves off and won't turn back on to auto.
I did a factory reset on the main console screen. I pulled the battery, waited a half hour before hooking back up. Same results. The diagnostic reader indicates there is an issue with yellow exclamation point but can't read any codes.
Dealership Service depts. are backed up for two weeks.
Is this something anyone has seen before? Is this definitely a dealer only fix?
Just wondered if there is something I can do or try while I am waiting for the dealership appt. The worst part is not having a defroster or heat.
Thanks again for any help.
