The Continental will focus on the origin of the hotel-for-assassins that is featured in the films and has become central to the John Wick universe.
Here’s a summary for the show: It follows “Winston Scott, who is dragged into the Hell-scape of a 1975 New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the New York’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the iconic hotel, which serves as the meeting point for the world’s most dangerous criminals.”
Mel will star as a character named Cormac and the outlet notes that so far there haven’t been any announcements as to who will play Winston Scott.
Last year it was confirmed that Keanu Reeves would be coming back for a fifth John Wick movie.
