A few soft lines for Monday morning
Hello Friends,
A little line was coming around the point this morning for a small group of waiting hopefuls. Set wave faces looked to be in the waist to maybe chest high range. They looked kind of slow and weak as well. Out at sea the swell was 1.6m at 10 seconds from 163° (SSE). So there should be numerous low-key surf oppotunities around the beaches.
Yesterday the prediction was for southerly conditions, but this morning sees the call being for NE wind gradually picking up into the 15-20 kt range by this afternoon, with swell staying south and about the current size. By tomorrow the Bureau tells us our swell prospects will be fading away. Longer term it appears from the models that we should have small conditions right across the week. Nothing really special in prospect, but with luck tomorrow will be the low point as we go into a week of knee to waist and a bit waves at magnets.
Take it easy folks, stay safe, get the jab sorted and mask up inside.
