Adopted newborn donkey loves watching TV on the sofa and drinking milk from bottles
A REJECTED newborn donkey has learned to relax by watching TV on the sofa – and loves Clarkson’s Farm.
Hand-reared Kye, two-weeks, is being fed milk from bottles and eats all his meals in the kitchen before settling down to relax in front of the box.
Kye loves chilling on the sofa and watching his favourite TV shows[/caption]Adopted mum and dog expert Gražina Pervenis, 40, lets Kye sleep inside her bungalow and allows him to “get up when he wants.”
Gražina of, Skegness, Lincolnshire said: “Kye is just like a baby, he will wake up in the middle of the night the night and need feeding. So he is quite hard work.
“He sleeps where he wants in the house, on the sofa or a bed, but I don’t wake him up in the morning. He gets up when he wants.
“Once he’s up we will give him a bottle of milk in either the kitchen or the sitting room, but then the days his own.
“He mostly follows me around the place, and will go out for a walk with my dogs in the garden.
“But when he’s tired he loves nothing more than sitting down on the sofa in front of the TV.

“He’s still only a baby so when he’s inside we put a nappy on him.”
Animal lover Gražina, who moved to the UK from Lithuania 20 years ago joked: “We tried to put Jeremy Clarkson’s ‘Farm’ on to make him feel at home.”
Kye’s owner John Nuttall, whose family has run donkey rides on Skegness beach for a century, turned to neighbour, Gražina, after he was abandoned at birth by his mum.
Gražina is an experienced dog-rearer.
