THE Chase viewers were convinced an Oscar-winning actress appeared on the show – but can you guess who?
Yesterday’s instalment of the ITV game show saw players Malcolm, Michaela, Charlotte and Thomas take on The Vixen AKA Jenny Ryan.
Contestant Michaela certainly got viewers talking on Twitter as soon as she spoke on camera.
The player confessed that she’d like to use the money to put towards her wedding next year so that she could arrive to the venue in a Jurassic Park car.
She managed to bag herself £8,000 after the first round, but fans were more interested in discussing something else on Twitter.
Some thought that 37-year-old sales assistant from Hampshire looked a lot like American actress Jodie Foster, who has won Oscars for part in films The Accused (1988) and The Silence of the Lambs (1991).
One fan wrote: “Michaela is the love child of Jodie Foster and Elizabeth Moss!”
Another cheekily joked: “Poundland Jodie foster seat 2 #thechase.”

Jodie shot to fame in 1965 at just three-years-old and has gone to to become one of the most respected actresses of all time.
She has starred in the likes of Taxi Driver, Panic Room, Flight Plan and Freaky Friday.
It comes after host of the show Bradley Walsh walked off in despair after a contestant made a big blunder.
A player called Jane fell at the final hurdle when she was asked what the term “suave” meant.
She went for “sour” and Bradley covered his face with his hands as he walked away from the podium.
Poor Jane laughed: “I guess I’m wrong from that reaction!”
