Tottenham Hotspur have accepted a loan approach from Turkish giants Galatasaray for Japhet Tanganga, according to The Athletic.
The 22-year-old is said to be in no rush to make a decision on whether to accept the offer since he is still determined to be part of Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans this season.
With the transfer window set to run until August 31st, the central defender is open to a move if it appears that he will not get the game time he expects this season.
Staying in England is also a possibility for the academy graduate, with the potential of a switch to another Premier League club having not been ruled out.
Tanganga has experienced a mixed time since breaking into the first-team in North London following his impressive display against Liverpool, with injuries having played a significant part in holding back his progress.
Tottenham must be potentially looking to bring in another central defender in addition to Cristian Romero if they are open to loaning out Tanganga.
One position where we could potentially become exposed should he leave is at right-back, should an offer come in for Serge Aurier who is within the last year of his contract.
