Tom Daley finally wins Olympic gold as he and Matty Lee pull off brilliant 10m synchro diving win at Tokyo 2020
TOM DALEY sealed his first Olympic gold medal 13 years in the making in today’s 10m synchronised diving alongside Matty Lee.
The Plymouth-born sensation burst onto the scene in Beijing aged just 14 back in 2008.

British pair Daley and Lee tussled with the Chinese reigning champions Cao Yuan and Chen Aisen for six pulsating round..
And when Cao and Chen faltered in Round Four by over rotating, the initiative was handed to Team GB.
Daley and Lee held their nerves in the following round, going into their final dive a point behind China.
And they were picture perfect in Round Six, receiving an astonishing 101.01 score to seal gold.
But they were made to sweat, as Chen and Cao produced a breathtaking final dive to try and snatch gold away, but it wasn’t quite enough to spoil Daley and Lee’s dream come true.
