49ers training camp: Will Nick Bosa get cleared or join others on injury lists?
Training camp offers a key step to move past last season’s massive casualty list. Not all 49ers will be cleared upon reporting to camp Tuesday, however.
Some will go on injury lists as the 49ers slow-play their re-entry to football activities. Those who go on Physically Unable To Perform or Non-Football Injury lists and remain there once the season starts, they’ll be out at least six weeks.
Here are players who had health concerns when the offseason program ended last month, though this doesn’t mean they will be limited at training camp:
*Defensive end Nick Bosa (knee)
*Defensive end Dee Ford (neck/back)
*Wide receiver Jalen Hurd (knee)
Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (groin)
Wide receiver Richie James Jr. (hamstring)
Wide receiver Travis Benjamin (calf)
*Running back Raheem Mostert (knee)
Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee)
*Safety Jaquiski Tartt (toe)
Safety Marcell Harris (groin)
Safety Tarvarius Moore (Achilles)
Defensive lineman Maurice Hurst (shoulder, concussion)
*Players who finished 2020 on injured reserve, as did quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle), running back JaMycal Hasty (collarbone), cornerback Ken Webster (hamstring), left tackle Trent Williams (elbow) and defensive end Jordan Willis (ankle).
