First responders nationwide, IDF Team working around the clock since Surfside Tower collapse: 86 dead
“Since minutes after the building collapsed, first responders have worked around the clock to find survivors in Surfside,”Gov DeSantis said.
The latest update is that 86 victims have been found. An estimated 126 total were in the Towers when they collapsed. 62 victims are now identified, 211 people are accounted for, and 43 are potentially unaccounted for, ABC cited officials.

Prime Minister Bennett conveyed condolences over the disaster to Governor DeSantis on behalf of the Israeli public and said that Israel will assist the American authorities as per request.
The PM said the US is Israel’s greatest friend and that Israel stands by the US at this difficult time; added that everyone is praying for the wellbeing of the wounded and noted he has instructed all Israeli government agencies to render whatever assistance that may be requested.
Yesterday, @IsraeliPM@naftalibennett offered Israel’s full support to Florida, and today, at the request of some Surfside families, we welcomed an expert IDF recovery team to supplement Surfside’s search and rescue efforts.
My administration continues to work with @FEMA to support the Surfside community. Today, I visited the family assistance center with representatives from FEMA, non-profits, and state agencies whose mission it is to help Surfside families get back on their feet.
The search will go on until all missing are found according to the Governor. At this time, eleven are dead with 150 still missing. The investigation into the collapse is ongoing.
