Mark Harmon Might Only Appear In A Few Episodes For 'NCIS' Season 19 (Report)
NCIS fans might be disappointed to hear this rumor about season 19 of the CBS show – Mark Harmon is reported to only be in a few episodes!
According to a new report via TV Line, the 69-year-old actor, who has starred as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, is only slated to star in a handful of episodes.

A few sources relayed the information to the site, and one insider revealed that Mark‘s episode count is “going to be in the low single digits.”
While CBS has not made any announcement about Mark‘s involvement in season 19, or lack of it, the network has revealed that they are in talks with Gary Cole to join the cast in a major role.
“We take it year by year with Mark,” CBS entertainment chief Kelly Kahl shared with press just weeks ago, when it was rumored he was leaving the series for good. “We’d love to have him as long as he’d like to be here…. [W]e’re happy to work around his schedule.”
Mark renewed his contract for season 19.
If you missed the season 18 finale, fans were on the edge of their seats for it – as Gibbs remained on leave from the agency and in the final moments, once he got his boat out of a basement, went for a ride on the river, only for it to be blown up.
However, he was seen swimming away just before the screen cut to black.
The fate of this other star of the show was confirmed, too.
If this is true, Mark would possibly take on the same capacity as David McCallum, who plays Ducky, and appears in key spots throughout the season. They are the only remaining original stars of the show.
