Ashley Cain and Safiyya Vorajee visit their daughter Azaylia’s grave at midnight to pray with her
ASHLEY Cain and his partner Safiyaa Vorajee paid a midnight visit to their daughter’s grave last night to pray with her.
The heartbroken couple are grieving the loss of Azaylia, who tragically passed away after a battle with a rare form of leukaemia at just eight months old.
They have been visiting the grave every day and last night showed their fans how it was lit up at night, covered in fairy lights and candles.
Sharing a video, Safiyaa told her followers: “Mummy and daddy just come to do some midnight prayers for you. We love you (sic).”
Ashley shared his own pictures from the graveside and wrote: “Goodnight, godbless angel.”
Earlier in the day, she sat beside her daughter’s grave as she opened up about how much she is struggling at the moment.
Safiyya explained: “I have been having really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I just keep getting them all throughout the day so I decided to come and sit down here with her because when I am here, I feel at peace with her. I feel like I am on a constant rollercoaster all day.”
She added: “I feel like I’m being tormented. All day the battle is so intense in my head, I have to come to her even if I just sit here and do nothing. I love you Azaylia.”
Safiyya and Ashley have been keeping fans updated with their journey into grief.
The brave mum previously said her life is feeling purposeless without her daughter, though she is looking forward to helping people with a charity set up in her name.
The inspirational couple managed to raise £1.6million through donations from generous fans in order to pay for treatment for her leukaemia.
They plan to use the fundraising cash – most of which was raised in 24 hours – on helping others through charity work, as well as giving Azaylia the “magical” send-off she deserves.
In her short life, eight-month-old Azaylia touched millions across the world throughout her battle with an aggressive form of leukaemia.
There were global landmark tributes, millions raised by generous fans and celebrity supporters who backed the family throughout.
