Bangladesh Buys Chinese Vaccine in Desperation as India Stops Export of Jabs
Bangladesh has witnessed a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in border districts because of the highly contagious B.1.617 variant, which was first detected in India. Experts have been suggesting that the government expedite the vaccination process as the country may witness more than 20,000 new cases a day by early July.
