Inside This Morning host Alison Hammond’s bright Birmingham home with fairy lights, spacious kitchen and hot tub
THIS Morning host Alison Hammond moved into a gorgeous new home in Birmingham with her teenage son Aiden just before lockdown.
But her fortunes didn’t stop there — as the former Big Brother star won a permanent role presenting This Morning with Dermot O’Leary on Fridays this year.
Talented Alison, 45, and Dermot, 47, replaced husband and wife duo Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on our screens from January 2021.
The pair are being beamed into homes across the country, but Dermot and Alison have already given fans a glimpse inside their beautiful homes on Instagram.
Alison’s incredible new pad boasts a huge garden with fairy lights, a hot tub and a spacious kitchen.
Alison has a cosy area to relax in her open plan kitchen diner where she has also presented This Morning segments from home.
The home boasts a kitchen and dining room, with a wall dedicated to her telly achievements.
Below are family photos, showing her with 13-year-old son, with the whole set up decorated with hanging bulbs.
Above the dinning room table – created with a white table and four blue chairs – is a metal framed mirror.
Asking for advice on This Morning, interior designer Kelly Hoppen recently helped Alison out by telling her to turn the dining room table around.
Alison gave it her best shot live on air.
“And then the mirror I’d move above the sofa for now,” Kelly added over video chat.
“I can’t do that right now!” Alison said.
Kelly laughed and said: “I didn’t expect you to actually do it. That makes the table look better already, put a nice bunch of flowers on.
“Move the mirror because it’s the wrong size. You want a bigger picture over there. So move that over there and put some pictures either side.”

Moving onto the kitchen, Kelly suggested putting something on the work surface.
She said: “Where your work top is, maybe put something there. Because when you sit on the sofa you want to look at something. So maybe put some vases, some fruit or something.”
Alison obliged and dragged some fruit into shot and then slammed a big F&M weaved basket onto the work surface – much to the delight of viewers and the studio.
