LIVE STREAM: Canelo vs Saunders weigh-in, 3 pm ET
Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders hit the scales today in Texas.
Today at 3 pm ET streaming in the video up top or on DAZN, Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders will hit the scales for Saturday night’s super middleweight unification of three world titles.
Canelo (55-1-2, 37 KO) and Saunders (30-0, 14 KO) had some tension at a face-to-face photo session on Wednesday, but Thursday’s press conference was rather more laid back.
Weigh-ins are always a coin flip for a fight of this level; if they feel like they need some extra heat to sell the fight, they might have a push-and-shove. Canelo isn’t usually one for that sort of thing, but we did see it for his fight against Daniel Jacobs in 2019, and it worked, believe it or not. That got a lot of last-minute attention on the fight.
How to Watch Canelo vs Saunders
Date: Saturday, May 8 | Start Time: 8:00 pm ET
Location: AT&T Stadium - Arlington, TX
Streaming: DAZN

Also weighing in will be WBO junior flyweight titleholder Elwin Soto and challenger Katsunari Takayama; junior middleweights Kieron Conway and Souleymane Cissokho; and heavyweights Frank Sanchez and Nagy Aguilera, rounding out the main card starting on DAZN at 8 pm ET on May 8.
We should also see prospects Keyshawn Davis, Marc Castro, and Kelvin Davis on the scales, all of whom will fight on the free prelims that will air on various DAZN social medias, and I expect we’ll have a stream, but they haven’t mentioned a start time for that yet. I assume they will at some point during this event, but we’ll know by tomorrow either way.
