Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic Will Play Thursday vs. Hornets
LaVine and Vucevic both entered the day as probable, and they will officially be in the lineup Thursday vs. the Hornets. LaVine has missed the Bulls’ last 11 games due to health and safety protocols, while Vucevic has missed the past two due to an adductor injury. Head coach Billy Donovan said that neither player will have a minute’s limit but that LaVine could play in shorter stints in his first game back. Their returns will hurt the rest of the roster from a fantasy perspective.
The Bulls also still technically have a chance to qualify for the play-in tournament. They’re 3.5 games behind the Wizards for the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference. They would also have to leapfrog the Raptors in the standings as well, so they’re going to need to win virtually all of their remaining contests to have a shot.
A win against the Hornets on Thursday would be a good start, and they’re currently listed as 4.5-point road favorites vs. the Hornets on FanDuel Sportsbook.
