Towie cast reunite to film Bridgerton-themed special – but Pete Wicks refuses to get into the spirit
THE Only Way Is Essex cast reunited to film a Bridgerton-themed special – but Pete Wicks refused to get into the spirit of things.
The reality stars came together over the weekend to show off their best Simon Bassett and Daphne Bridgerton impressions for the ITVBe show.
The likes of Amy Childs, Amber Turner and Chloe Meadows put on their best Daphne Bridgerton impression for the Towie reunion[/caption]The girls swapped their high heels, fake tan and dramatic false eyelashes for corsets, petticoats and V-shaped bodices.
Amy Childs, 30, went all out for the party and looked totally unrecognisable in a cream ball gown, impressive up-do hair style and even managed to arrive in style with help from a white horse and carriage.
The likes of Ella-Rae Wise, 21, Nicole Bass, 29, and Amber Turner, 29, also took the dress-code extremely seriously with their amazing 19th century style dresses.
Meanwhile Chloe Brockett opted for something a little more modern that displayed her hourglass figure.

James Lock, who recently split with former co-star Yazmin Oukhellou, also made an appearance in a yellow waistcoat and khaki coloured overcoat.
But Pete Wicks – who has recently been involved in a ‘flirtationship’ with Ella – failed to get into the spirit of things.
The long-haired hunk and Harry Lee decided to opt out of the 1800s attire for something a bit more 2021.

The first season of the eight-part drama, which is based on Julia Quinn’s books, is set in Regency era London in 1813.
It follows the lives of Violet Bridgerton and her eight children – Anthony, Benedict, Colin, and Gregory, Daphne, Eloise, Francesca, and Hyacinth.
The first season focused on her daughter Daphne and her budding relationship with the Duke of Hastings, Simon Bassett.

Season one was a huge success and became No. 1 in 76 countries on Netflix when it first hit our screens.
Fans of the show were left wondering if there would be a follow-up season, and in January 2021, it was confirmed that there will be a second series.
The good news doesn’t stop there.
Earlier this month Netflix’s official Twitter account confirmed not one, but TWO more series.
They told their 906.5k followers: “BREAKING NEWS FROM THE TON. Bridgerton is returning for seasons three *AND* four!”
