The charge is a second-degree felony in Texas.
Baker allegedly forced himself inside the home of his ex-girlfriend Mariah Lopez and hit her in the face after she refused to let him see their baby, according to police.
According to Lopez’s story, Baker allegedly entered her home through a locked back door, pushed her to the floor and “struck her in the face with a palm heel” before exiting the property.
Baker was charged with burglary of habitation, according to TMZ[/caption]Baker’s sister reportedly witnessed the situation unfold.
Police began searching for Baker and learned he had relocated to a nearby town; he was arrested a few days later.
He posted a $15,000 bond the same day and was released.

Baker was part of season 19 of the singing competition.
In his first audition, Baker sang Talkin Tennessee by Morgan Wallen and made it through after getting a yes from the three judges.
