Taylor Swift’s ‘stalker’ arrested for trying to break into her NYC home as man, 52, claimed they ‘spoke on Instagram’
TAYLOR Swift’s “stalker” was arrested for trying to break into her New York City home as the man, 52, claimed they “spoke on Instagram.”
The pop star had previously revealed she had to hire security 24/7 to protect her as people kept finding out where she lived.
Taylor’s NYC apartment has been broken into several times[/caption]The stalker, whose name is Hanks Johnson, claimed he had been communicating with Taylor on social media before he tried to break into her home, WFXR reported.
According to a police spokesperson, Johnson was arrested at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday after a 911 caller said he saw him inside Taylor’s building without permission.
Johnson was charged with criminal trespass and released on his own recognizance after an arraignment on Sunday night.

Johnson also has a restraining order that prevents him from contacting Bella and Gigi Hadid, The Daily News revealed.
A few years ago, another man had been arrested after he broke into Taylor’s NYC apartment and took a nap on her couch.

In an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” she revealed she usually kept her location a secret as she’s always had issues with stalkers.
“I try not to ever really say where I am, since all my addresses are on the internet,” she said, referring to several recent cases of stalkers being arrested at or near her house as “dudes that think we have an imaginary marriage.”
She had previously talked about how she and her team are ready for every type of situation in an essay for Elle, saying she carries army-grade bandage dressing “for gunshot or stab wounds.”
When talking to CBS, she said she always considers the worst-case scenario.
