Nuggets Will Be Without Monte Morris Monday Night
The Denver Nuggets are once again dealing with an injury to their starting point guard. Monte Morris has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury two games after Jamal Murray’s season came to an end with a torn ACL. Harrison Wind had the news, and there doesn’t appear to be a timeline for Morris’s recovery.
Facundo Campazzo has started at point guard in four games this season and should be inserted in the starting lineup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Campazzo has made the most of his time as a starter, averaging 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
Shaquille Harrison is listed behind Campazzo on the Nuggets depth chart. Harrison has played only three minutes for the Nuggets after signing a two-way deal earlier this week. That could mean that Campazzo improves on his career-high 39:32 minutes he set against the Boston Celtics on February 16. Harrison has a $3,500 salary on the FanDuel main slate, and Campazzo has a $4,300 salary.
The Nuggets are -7 against the Grizz in Denver, as per FanDuel Sportsbook.
