Rap Supergroup Mt. Westmore Premieres New Song at Triller Fight Club: Watch
Mt. Westmore has arrived.
On Saturday night (April 17), the rap supergroup featuring Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too Short made its live performance debut during the Triller Fight Club event at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
For the 20-minute performance, the California hip-hop legends each took turns performing their solo hits before coming together to premiere Mt. Westmore’s upcoming single “Big Subwoofer,” Rolling Stone reports.
Too Short touched on the Mt. Westmore project during a March interview with HipHop-N-More, noting that the supergroup has recorded “somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 songs” and plans to tour together in the future.
“Volume one will be released in April and the rest of the volumes will follow,” the Oakland rapper said.
Mt. Westmore’s first song “Step Child” appears on the soundtrack for the 2019 drama American Skin, which was released earlier this year.
Other performers at Triller’s pay-per-view spectacle — where YouTuber Jake Paul knocked out ex-MMA fighter Ben Askren — included Justin Bieber, The Black Keys, Doja Cat, Saweetie and Diplo.
