Elfrid Payton Out Saturday vs Indiana Pacers
Make it two in a row for Elfrid Payton, who will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury when the New York Knicks take on the Indiana Pacers Saturday night.
Derrick Rose got the start in Payton’s place on Thursday night and made the most of his opportunity. Rose posted his highest point total since joining the Knicks and finished the game with an 18/3/6 slash line.
It’s been a productive two games for Rose, who has put up 24.6 and 37.8 FanDuel Fantasy Points in each of his last two games. Those performances are two of his most productive since joining the Knicks.
Immanuel Quickley came off the bench in that Thursday night game against the Sacramento Kings and dropped a team-high 25 points in the 140-121 victory. His 35.7 FanDuel Fantasy Points in that game were Quickley’s highest since January 31.
Rose carries a $5,700 salary on the DFS slate at FanDuel, which is low-end, particularly among starters. In comparison, Quickley’s is $5,500.
The Knicks tip-off as one-point favorites against the Pacers, with a total set at 218.5.
