Chelsea confirm six coaches staying after Frank Lampard’s sacking to work under new boss Thomas Tuchel
CHELSEA have confirmed a wealth of backroom staff members staying on after Thomas Tuchel’s appointment.
The former Paris Saint-Germain boss is expected to bring a number of his own people to the club after replacing Frank Lampard.

But, according to Goal, six backroom staff members have been told they will keep their jobs.
Joe Edwards took Chelsea training on Tuesday before Tuchel’s arrival and he will remain in West London.
The former Blues schoolboy joined the academy staff in 2004 and went on to win the FA Youth Cup twice in charge of the Under-18s, before his promotion to the first-team under Lampard.
Also overseeing training before Tuchel landed was Anthony Barry.
The first-team coach joined from Wigan last summer and is set to stay in his role.

However, the Mail report on League One side Fleetwood considering a bid to make Barry their new manager.
Another Lampard appointment, Henrique Hilario, will remain the club’s goalkeeping coach.
Chelsea fans will remember the Portuguese shot-stopper as the long-term backup to Petr Cech, clocking up 20 appearances in eight years in the squad.
James Russell is to continue as Hilario’s assistant in coaching the keepers.
And fitness coaches Matt Birnie and Will Tullett are to stay in their roles, having worked under a number of different managers.
Tuchel is expected to bring in a number of his own trusted staff members to help formulate a title challenge.
