Katie Price shows off new short hair as This Morning viewers praise her for being perfect mum to Harvey
KATIE Price showed off her dramatic new haircut on today’s This Morning and was praised for being the perfect mum to her son Harvey.
The 42-year-old has chopped her long blonde hair and dyed it black, and the result has gone down a storm.
She appeared on the ITV show today via videolink to discuss her new BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey and Me.
Katie has put Harvey, who has Prader-Willi Syndrome, into residential care so he can experience independent living and make friends.
The model and reality star has raised him on her own since birth, with dad Dwight Yorke playing no part in his son’s life.
Viewers were impressed with the love Katie showed for her eldest, with one writing on Twitter: “What a great mum Katie Price is. Her dedication to Harvey is inspiring. The trolls can do one, they ain’t got a clue about the pain she’s had to go through doing her best for her son.”

Katie insisted in a new chat with The Sun that she’s a “bloody good mum” and she hates it when people credit her exes for their “polite” kids.
The mum of five, who suffered a breakdown at the beginning of last year, co-parents Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, with first husband Peter Andre, and Bunny, seven, and Jett, six, with ex Kieran Hayler.
She declared: “I don’t need to justify myself as a mother – I know I’m a bloody good mum.
“I can take my kids anywhere and wherever I’ve taken my kids, everyone is like, ‘I can’t believe how polite your kids are they’re a pleasure to have’, and that is down to me, their parenting and their dads as well.
“The kids love coming to me, I’m completely different, I’m the laid back one.
“They get a bit of both, they get the strict parent and the easy going one where they can stay up later and watch a movie.”
Princess and Junior split their time between Katie and her ex Pete who lives with wife Amelia and their children in his Surrey mansion.
Meanwhile, Jett and Bunny lived with Kieran and his fiancee Michelle Pentecost when the UK was plunged into the first coronavirus lockown last March.
At the time, Katie praised her exes for being “great dads” and taking their kids in full time when she was forced to isolate alone with vulnerable son Harvey.
Her eldest Harvey is partially blind, autistic, has Prader-Willi syndrome and septo-optic dysplasia.
Katie said: “I regularly FaceTime the kids. I can’t wait to see them and to give them a big hug – this has been really hard.

Dwight has never been a part of Harvey’s life but Katie hopes he sees her new BBC documentary Katie Price: Harvey and and gets in touch.
