GOOD Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan weighs 16 stone after eating six meals a day – and he vowed to lose a stone as he was inspired by Eamonn Holmes.

“My own Good Morning Britain day regime is usually porridge and honey at 5.30am, Marmite on toast at 7.30am, eggs and something when I get home at 9.15am, possibly another sandwich snack at 11am, and a hearty lunch at 12.30pm before attacking the biscuit tin in the afternoon, until my wife Celia locks it away,” Piers wrote in his Daily Mail column.
“By 5pm I’m slumped on the sofa like a zombie waiting for dinner.”
He continued: “As a result, I now weigh 16 stone, a stone more than when I started at GMB, and the former “Telly-Tubby” has gone from being my merciless fat-mockery to my fitness role model.Eamonn said his morning diet made him pile on the pounds[/caption] Eamonn – pictured with wife Ruth Langsford – is now fit and healthy[/caption]
“So my resolution is to weigh the same as Eamonn Holmes by the end of 2021.”
While editor of the Daily Mirror, Piers published photos of Eamonn playing golf under the headline “TELLY-TUBBY!”
But the This Morning star has managed to go from 18st to 15st through juicing, fasting, walking and Pilates after making a New Year’s Resolution to get fitter.

“I have shed 3st over five years,” Eamonn told the Mirror.
“I genuinely believe in New Year’s resolutions. It’s a great time to take stock to repair your habits, to improve your life.”
After pledging to do a juice diet to shed weight in 2015, Eamonn lost 10lbs.
He also fasts for 12 hours a day, takes his dog Maggie for daily walks to keep his step count up and even does pilates once a week. He’s already complained about the size of his portions[/caption]
“Now, if I have lunch, I will have a juice for dinner,” he said.
“If I have it during the day, I look forward to a meal in the evening.”
Piers has already begun his new diet and even moaned that his wife Celia Walden served him a “canape sized” dinner.
It’s not the first time that Piers has made comments about his weight – last year making his followers laugh as he compared himself to a “fat” ornament. His wife is committed to making him shed the pounds[/caption]

After weeks of overeating in this first national lockdown, he wrote alongside a photo of a ceramic jester ornament: “Lockdown diet is turning me into my ornaments.”
Months later, he revealed he’s been shamed into embarking on a weight-loss programme after gaining half a stone on holiday.
The plan included limits on booze intake, a stringent diet and workouts with former Olympian and personal trainer Sarah Lindsay.
He told The Sun: “I’m going to see a new personal trainer, and unfortunately Celia’s taken it all quite seriously, so suddenly it’s all the good stuff’s gone and all the kale’s come in and the quinoa and vegetables.
“A lot of vegetables. A lot of salmon. A lot less Bordeaux – I’m down to one glass a night.”
