Giovanna Fletcher’s brother Mario slams I’m A Celebrity stars for being ‘more interested in treats than family letters’
THE brother of I’m A Celebrity star Giovanna Fletcher slammed her campmates for being more interested in chocolates than messages from their loved ones.
Former Towie star, Mario Falcone, praised his big sister for her time on the ITV reality series and how she was able to remain “positive” during her time in the castle.

Viewers saw Giovanna ‘cruelly’ miss out on a treat from her family early on in the show.
It left the author in tears, but she was later surprised when AJ Pritchard and Jessica Plummer won treats for himself, Jordan and Giovanna on Wednesday night.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Mario, 32, said his sister “cared more” about her message from home than the other stars.

“I found that everyone else was more focused on the treat they got. Do they really care about the words?”
Mario added: “The words will come from Tom. That’s what she wanted. She didn’t care about the chocolate, or whatever sweets would’ve come.
“All she cared about was those words from Tom.”
Giovanna has been missing her husband Tom and three boys[/caption] Mario says he knew his sister would do well on I’m A Celeb[/caption]The dad-of-one was convinced from day one that his sister would do well on I’m A Celeb.
He argued people love her not only because Giovanna was “relatable” but because she was what “2020 needed”.
“I think she’ll be shocked how much people love her when she comes out,” Mario told The Sun.
“She is a breath of fresh air and she is positive.

“Anytime in the castle where things went against her, or anything was hard, she still found a positive in it.”
He added: “And in 2020, where we’re in the midst of a global pandemic, I think you need people like her and it is such a rarity for people to be positive when there’s so much negativity around.”
Mario has been campaigning hard for his sister, even though he thinks she’s already got it in the bag.
“Just vote for Giovanna. She deserves it.”
