Strictly’s Maisie Smith says she’s put ON weight during the show after admitting she was ‘insecure’ about her cellulite
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Maisie Smith has admitted she’s GAINED weight since appearing on the BBC1 show.
The EastEnders star shared how her body has changed during being on the ballroom dancing contest.
Maisie says she has put on weight over Strictly [/caption]The 19-year-old told The Daily Star: “I’ve put on weight! I make dinners at the weekend to last the whole week and I eat them within two days.
“The gyms are closed and I’m a gym freak – that’s where I feel happiest – but I don’t feel like I’m lacking.
“In the first lockdown I struggled without the gym, but this time around I haven’t felt that.
“I’m getting so strong every day. And dancing is the most fun!”

The EastEnders actress took to her Instagram page to share a series of images showing her on the way to training in lime green lycra shorts and a red jersey.
In the caption alongside, she candidly revealed her body confidence worries – but admitted she’s slowly beating them.
She wrote: “Here lies a collection of photos taken at the exact same time, however, from different angles, under different lighting.
Maisie in the gym pre lockdown[/caption]“The past few years I’ve been VERY insecure about my legs. I covered them up as much possible.
“No matter how many people told me ‘cellulite is natural… everyone has it.’ I still hated them.
“It’s taken me a while but I’m starting to accept these aspects of myself that I’ve always seen as ‘flaws.”
She added: “I wore gym shorts (out of the house) for the FIRST time a couple of months ago and I was so so proud of myself .

Maisie was in the danger zone of Strictly again last week – despite coming second on the leaderboard on judges’ scores.
One viewer felt she had been harshly treated, tweeting: “The UK hates confident women confirmed.”

Maisie and Gorka were saved by judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke, and will be hoping for better fortune tonight.
Maisie has since cooled her budding romance with pop star HRVY so she can concentrate fully on the dance competition.
A show source said: “Maisie is seriously worried about getting knocked out and desperately wants to make it to the final.
“She is worried her relationship with HRVY has damaged her chances now.”
