Can you get a Disney plus free trial?
Disney took the illustrious back catalogue of the House of Mouse and brought it inside your house this year, with the launch of Disney Plus.
With decades worth of family favourites plus plenty of original content – including Star Wars’ The Mandalorian, the upcoming Marvel spin-off WandaVision and live action remakes including Lady and the Tramp, it’s a streaming service that many were waiting for.
If you’re yet to sample the service, can you sign up for a free trial?
Does Disney Plus have a free trial?
Unlike many of its rivals, like Netflix and Amazon Prime, Disney Plus no longer offer a free trial.
When it was revealed the free trials would stop – around the same time the live filmed Hamilton film was about to drop in July – a spokesperson for Disney confirmed it was because ‘the service was set at an attractive price-to-value proposition that we believe delivers a compelling entertainment offering on its own.’
How much is Disney Plus?
There are two options if you wanted to check out the content on Disney Plus, including Hamilton and The Mandalorian.
You can pay £5.99 per month, with no commitments so you can cancel any time.
Or you can save on a 12-month subscription, for an upfront fee of £59.99.
With either subscription, you can stream on up to four screens at once, with compatible devices including AppleTV, Samsung televisions, a Mac or Windows PC, iPhone, iPad and game consoles including the PS4, PS5 and Xbox One.
