Tyson-Jones: Live coverage, 9 pm ET
Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr are set for tonight’s exhibition fight, and we’ll have live, round-by-round updates for the event.
Tonight at 9 pm ET on pay-per-view, we’ll see what exactly the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr exhibition fight is going to be, as the two legends square off in an eight-round heavyweight bout from Los Angeles.
Bad Left Hook will be here with live results and updates, including up-to-the-minute round-by-round for the main event and the Jake Paul-Nate Robinson fight.
The 54-year-old Tyson hasn’t fought since 2005, and talked about making a comeback earlier this year. The 51-year-old Jones, a former pound-for-pound king, has stepped up to the plate to take on the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
As far as the rules, we’ve laid them out for you as best we can. It’s eight rounds, each two minutes, no headgear, fighters aren’t supposed to go for a knockout, the bout can be stopped on a cut, and the suggestion from the California commission is to not go beyond “hard sparring.” Tyson and Jones and event organizers have been defiant in interviews and press releases, but those are the rules in place. What we actually get could be any of several other stories.
How to Watch Tyson vs Jones
Date: Saturday, Nov. 28 | Start Time: 9:00 pm ET
Location: Staples Center - Los Angeles, CA
TV: PPV ($49.99) | Stream: FITE TV PPV ($49.99)
The event will also feature a sanctioned pro bout between YouTuber Jake Paul, who is 1-0 in pro boxing, and former NBA player Nate Robinson, who at 36 will be making his boxing debut. We’ll also see former two-division titleholder Badou Jack taking on Blake McKernan in an eight round cruiserweight bout. Viddal Riley was supposed to face former UFC fighter Rashad Coulter, but that was axed when Riley pulled out, and then Riley’s replacement Hasim Rahman Jr tested positive for COVID-19, so that’s off, too.
We’ll list the three fights we know for sure will be on the pay-per-view, plus the others that are set for the show, and could be part of the broadcast. There will also be a musical performance by Lil Wayne, apparently.
We’ll be here. Join us for ... whatever this is gonna be!
