Heavy D’s real name was Colin Newell
He shot to fame after appearing as a main buyer on the UK version of Storage Hunters, which airs on the digital channel Dave.
Heavy also did a 2 year course at the Young Actors Theatre.
Before finding fame, he was a cab driver and had been working the markets from the age of 8 years old, buying and selling women’s clothes.
How did Heavy D die?
On November 25, 2020 it was revealed that Heavy D had passed away.
His exact cause of death is yet to revealed.
Actor Nick Never wrote: ‘I’m very shocked & saddened to hear of the passing of my friend @HeavyHeavyd. U lived ur life the way u wanted to & f*** anyone who didn’t like it!

When did Heavy D appear on Celebrity Big Brother?
In August 2016, Heavy D took part in the 18th series of Celebrity Big Brother.
He became the fourth person to be evicted from the show after going up against Lewis Bloor, Stephen Bear and Renee Graziano.
Heavy became known in the house for his love a good argument and famously got into a row with Katie Waissel.

In January 2018, Heavy D also appeared on ITV’s Judge Rinder after he failed to pay his former landlord £12,000 worth of rent and caused damage to the North London flat.
In November Stephen Cooper said he had only managed to boot the reality TV star out of the North London home after taking him to court and enlisting the help of bailiffs.
Judge Rinder ruled Heavy D should pay £5,000 in damages.
