Jeff Bridges Provides Health Update After Cancer Reveal, Shares Photo Undergoing Treatment
Jeff Bridges is staying positive amid his cancer diagnosis.
After revealing that he was diagnosed with Lymphoma earlier this week, the 70-year-old Oscar winner took to his Twitter on Thursday (October 29) to thank fans for the support.
“I want to thank you all for reaching out during this time, it feels good getting all the well wishes and love!” Jeff tweeted along with a photo of himself at the hospital undergoing treatment.
He also shared a lengthy statement on his health on his website.
“This cancer thing is bringing on feelings of preciousness, and gratitude, and good old fashion love, and lots of it, big time,” Jeff wrote. “I’m feeling so much of it comin’ my way, and man, I appreciate it. It’s contagious, all this love, like some kind of positive virus.”
“I want to acknowledge and thank you guys for reaching out during this time,” Jeff added. “It feels good, getting all the well wishes and love.”
Jeff continued by saying that “this cancer is making me appreciate my mortality, appreciate impermanence.”
“I’m realizing if I have –t to share, now’s the time,” Jeff wrote, while adding doodles and links to some his past performances on YouTube.
