KYM Marsh revealed her agony as her friends didn’t attend her baby son’s funeral because it was too “difficult”.
The Coronation Street star, 44, tragically lost her baby son Archie in February 2009 after being born 21 weeks early.
Kym Marsh opened up about her pain on Morning Live[/caption]However, Kym was faced with extra heartache as her friends refused to attend the funeral – saying it was a “difficult thing for them”.
Speaking on BBC show Morning Live with co-presenter Gethin Jones on Wednesday, she said: “I had almost got to the point where I wasn’t accepting anything yet, but equally, I found that people didn’t know what to say to me or how to talk to me, so, therefore, avoided that completely.
“Some people didn’t want to come to his funeral because they felt… they just couldn’t cope with such a small baby’s funeral.
“They felt really difficult, it was a difficult thing for them.”

She continued: “When I lost my son, Archie, 11 years ago – and I lost him quite late in my pregnancy.
“I personally didn’t want to talk about it initially, because I felt that if I talked about it, it would be real.”
Kym was with her ex-husband and Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas when the devastating death happened.

The star has two other children, David, 25, and Emily, 23, who she shares with ex partner Dave Cunliffe.
