‘Serial child rapist, 81, went to leer at kids in park days after he was freed from jail’
A suspected serial child rapist went to leer at children in a park days after being freed from jail, it is claimed. Fred Kimball, 81, is said to have watched youngsters enjoy themselves at Avoca City Park in Arkansas on October 12 – 10 days after being freed on bail on suspicion of raping three underage girls.
Kimball – who was ordered back into jail after his bond was revoked Monday – is accused of breaching the terms of his parole with the park visit. The three children he is accused of raping are now grown women.
One of the children was 15 when Kimball began grooming her, it is claimed. He is said to have approached the girl in a park, invited her to his home, then exchanged texts with her, offered to buy her a job, and bought food for the teen and her family.
Another of Kimball’s alleged victims was 13 years-old when he attacked her, according to an affidavit seen by the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
Further information on Kimball’s relationship to his alleged victims, when the offenses are said to have taken place, and how they ultimately came to light has not been released.
Kimball is currently being held on $500,000 cash-only bond, and will be arraigned on November 9.
