How You Can Get McDonald's New Menu Items For Free
The Apple Fritter, Blueberry Muffin, and Cinnamon Roll are officially McDonald's newest menu items, and to celebrate the fast-food chain is offering a sweet, sweet deal. Get any for free once a day for an entire week!To activate the offer you'll need McDonald's app and some coffee. Starting Nov. 3, order any sized McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or Iced Coffee in the app for pickup at a restaurant or in the drive-thru. Next, select which of the three new pastries you'd like to go with it, and suddenly you've got breakfast for one single dollar bill. When you wake up the next day you can have your favorite of the three again or try a new one — because the deal lasts until Nov. 9. (McDonald's may have weathered the 2020 storm, but others did not — here are 9 Restaurant Chains That Closed Hundreds of Locations This Summer.)The three pastries are the first of their kind to be added to McDonald's menu in over eight years, joining the chocolate chip cookie and the apple pie. The announcement of their arrival comes as all-day breakfast at the chain is in limbo. No plans have been made to take away the beloved part of the menu every day around midday, but some franchise owners are hoping one is made. For now, the chain is focusing on the newest members of the breakfast family."These additions give customers more ways to experience the breakfast they love at McDonald's, building upon our 50-year legacy of innovation with iconic fan-favorites such as the Egg McMuffin, Breakfast Burritos and McGriddles," the company says in a statement. For more fast-food restaurant news delivered straight to your email inbox, sign up for our daily newsletter!
