AOC rips Trump for asking if she went to college and says ‘many without degrees could be better president’
ALEXANDRIA Ocasio-Cortez slammed President Trump for suggesting she didn’t attend college, adding that plenty of people without degrees could run the US better than him.
While speaking about Ocasio-Cortez during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Monday, Trump asked, “She did go to college, right?”

“Plenty of people without college degrees could run this country better than Trump ever has,” she added.
She then went on to take digs at Republicans in general for mocking people who don’t attend college.
“As much as GOP cry about ‘elites,’ they’re the ones who constantly mock food service workers, people w/o degrees, etc as dumb. It’s classist & disgusting,” she said.
She went on to say that she had hired people without degrees who have been amazing employees and that as the price of college soars, degrees are becoming more of a measure of “privilege than competence.”

“A great student of the environment,” he said of Ocasio-Cortez. “I don’t think she ever took an environmental course in college. She did go to college, right?”
Ocasio-Cortez attended Boston University and graduated in 2011 with degrees in international relations and economics.
This is the second time in a week Ocasio-Cortez has slammed the president for insulting her.
She accused the president of “disrespect” after he referred to “the squad” as “AOC plus three” during the final presidential debate last week.
AOC also slammed Trump for referring to ‘The Squad’ as ‘AOC plus three’ during the final presidential debate[/caption]Approximately two hours after Trump and Joe Biden went head-to-head for the last US Presidential Debate, Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to denounce GOP lawmakers for shortening the names of female representatives.
“I wonder if Republicans understand how much they advertise their disrespect of women in debates when they consistently call women members of Congress by nicknames or first names while using titles & last names when referring to men of = stature,” she wrote.
“Women notice. It conveys a lot.”
“The squad” refers to a group of progressive female Democrats: Ocasio-Cortez, plus Representatives Ilhan Omar, of Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib, of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley, of Massachusetts.
