Troy Deenoy joins The Sun as our new hard-hitting columnist with Watford star to give you the inside track in football
TROY DEENEY is joining The Sun as our new hard-hitting columnist.
The Watford striker will give our readers the latest insight inside the world of football – as well his opinions outside of it.
The 32-year-old is also linking up with talkSPORT to become a regular across the station, alongside appearing on their podcasts.
He will be with Laura Woods and Ally McCoist every Monday and will feature as a live football pundit across the season.
The veteran forward will be introduced to Sun readers this week and his new forthrightly column will give a fresh perspective on the game.
Deeney said: “I can’t wait to get going on The Sun and talkSPORT. The Sun is a massive paper and I understand the responsibilities that go with that.
“talkSPORT is the number one sports station so to be broadcasting on Breakfast and across the schedule will be very special for me.
“I want to add something unique and give a different perspective, not only on football but many areas of life.”
Deeney will also continue to be a regular at Waford, as he tries to help the Championship club back into the Premier League.
