You can stay in a Harry Potter-inspired dorm with Gryffindor themed beds and prefect bathroom for just £50 each
HARRY Potter fans can stay in a Gryffindor themed dorm with four-poster beds and a lavish prefect bathroom, featuring the famous mermaid stained glass window.
Found at North Shire in Liverton, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, the dorms are themed around the famous Hogwarts house common room and dormitory used by Harry Potter and his friends.

The living area has a large stone fireplace – similar to the films, as well as comfortable sofas, as well as a kitchen.
The bathroom is also a lavish affair – based on the prefect’s fancy bathrooms, you will find gold shell-shaped sinks, and a backlit stained glass window with a blonde mermaid on it, just like in the Harry Potter and Goblet of Fire film.
Rates start from £50 each a night, with up to six people sharing.

The dorm was created by entrepreneur and designer Carol Cavendish, who also has the Groundkeepers Cottage, based on Hagrid’s Hut a hobbit hut available to rent, among other fairytale properties.
They also have shepherds huts and caravans to rent on-site.
Carol explained her motive behind The Dorm: “Today when there’s so much fear around the pandemic, people are looking for ways they can step back from reality for a short time and be comforted in a world of make-believe which is just what The Dorm aims to do along with our other accommodation.”
You can also win a stay at The Dorm, with three nights during New Year along with a champagne hamper, with a competition launched to raise funds for Tusk, a charity for sustainable conservation drives in Africa.
