Stacey Solomon gets booted in the face by son on camping holiday saying she feels like she’s got ‘ten hangovers’
STACEY Solomon found herself woken up in dramatic fashion on her camping holiday – when Rex crawled over her booting the star in the face.
Stacey, 30, has been documenting the adventure on her Instagram Story after boyfriend Joe Swash, 38, bought them a flashy £50,000 camper van.
The mother-of-three was smiling when she shared one of her final posts from her mini break, showing Rex with his bum and feet in her face.
The honest star penned: “Good morning campers, I feel like I’ve got ten hangovers. Happy Sunday.”
Today, Stacey confessed she was delighted to be home after a weekend of roughing it in the great outdoors.
She added: “Never been so excited to be showered, in fresh PJs, and in an actual bed.”
Stacey enjoyed a sweet reunion with her grandma on the spontaneous camping holiday with Joe and Rex – but admitted she felt heartache at not being able to “cuddle” her.
Stacey filmed Joe as he battled to erect the tent next to their camper before they set off to take Stacey’s grandma for lunch.
The mother-of-three shared a sweet video of her granny interacting with smiling Rex at a restaurant, with Stacey explaining in the caption: “We’ve drove a little way to come and see my grandma.
“She lives quite far from us… I just love her so, so much and feel so lucky to have her in our lives, I want to see her as much as I can.”
Referencing social-distancing rules protecting vulnerable people amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Stacey added a crying emoji as she continued: “I can’t wait to properly be allowed to hug her again.”
The TV favourite then shared a photo of herself and her grandma smiling while catching up over a cuppa by the river.
