A RUSTY Mini found under a pile of rubbish in a garage after 46 years has sold for £28,000.
The 1965 Mini Cooper S was given to Stuart Wainwright as a 21st birthday present in 1967.

It was uncovered by his family near Derby after he died aged 73 last year.
The Mini, which needs at least £10,000 spent to restore it, sold for £28,800 at auction last week.
The buyer was a collector from Cheshire.

“It is a lot of money for a rusty wreck, which is what it is at the moment.”
