How Bayern Munich will line-up next season with Leroy Sane heading attack and making them best team in world again
LEROY SANE completed his £55million move from Manchester City to Bayern Munich on Thursday night.
And with the ex-City star in the team, Bayern’s already potent attack could now help them rule Europe once again.
The move was officially announced this morning after Bayern were forced to apologise to City for pictures of Sane in a Bayern shirt being leaked onto social media last night.
It comes after they won the Bundesliga for the EIGHTH consecutive season on June 16.
And with one foot in the Champions League quarter-finals after thrashing Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on February 25 in the last-16, Hansi Flick’s side are already an imposing force.
But having added 24-year-old Sane to their ranks on a five-year, £385,000-a-week deal, it could take them to the next level going into next season.
Impressive goalkeeper Alexander Nubel has been signed from Schalke.
And although Manuel Neuer also signed a new deal with the Bavarians, the veteran stopper could see his eventual replacement given some game time in order to bed him in.
World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard will stay at right-back where he has played most of this season, with the equally impressive Alphonse Davies on the opposite side.
Ever-present Jerome Boateng will stay at centre-half but new signing Tanguy Kouassi will likely replace David Alaba alongisde him. The Austrian’s deal expires at the end of the season and Chelsea are among several clubs interested.
Kouassi has been dubbed the new Marcel Desailly after Bayern managed to prise him away from Paris Saint Germain.
In midfield, the versatile Joshua Kimmich will sit at the base of a three with Leon Goretzka and Bayern legend Thomas Muller – who also recently signed a new deal – either side of him.

Goal machine Robert Lewandowski will maintain his spot at the head of the attack given his phenomenal 49 goals from 42 games in all competitions so far this season.
Former Arsenal man and current German football sensation Serge Gnabry will play on the right wing with Sane on the left.
But Sane will not have an easy ride as speed merchant Kingsley Coman won’t be happy with a spot on the bench.
